From I-35, exit at County Highway 70. Go east on Hwy 70, and turn left (north) on Jaquard Avenue. Lakeville South High School is on the left side of Jacquard Avenue.

The Lakeville Athletics Town Baseball Team, founded in 2000, plays in the Cannon Valley League.

The Cannon Valley League teams are the Apple Valley Millers, Burnsville Bobcats, Eagan Bandits, Lakeville Athletics, Rosemount Black Sox and the Savage Outlaws. The top two teams from the CVL (Class B, Section 5) qualify for the state tournament.
